stressed and fractured

so i most likely have a stress fracture in my foot. i have to wait to get a bone scan to know for sure, but it has been almost 3 weeks and no improvement, so it is a fair bet at this point..... and even if it is not it still sucks because i am fairly immobile compared to what i am use to.

so the reason they call it a stress fracture is because first you become stressed out of your mind. see, the people that are commonly afflicted with stress fractures are people that are very active in sports (it is a fracture cause due to over use), thus it is very difficult for people like this and with stress fracture to do the smart thing and not work out. and i am no exception. i am going insane missing martial arts. it helps me to alleviate my stress and i just really really love it. so i am stressed out of my mind that something i am passionate about is taken away from me, and during a time that i am stressed out of my mind already (got so jerked around at work that i quit). so yes, a stress fracture is indeed very stressful. and the stress of being away from a sport you love fractures your mind and soul :(

no more thinking Jen, no more thinking....... too much to deal with. maybe i should get really drunk again and write another blog that i won't remember. crap that was funny. i seriously was shocked when i saw that post, i only vaguely remember writing it. and the best part about that is the first comment about driving..... shit if i could have gotten away with driving then that is the scariest fucking thing!!

Hi! This is jordanjelly from MA forums! Try punching your heavy bag from a sitting position! Maybe that'll help.

If I hurt my legs or feet I usually practise lots of handstands, punches and blocks or pull ups.
